Earlier today, TNA sent out a text alert through their mobile service that Karen Angle suffered a broken leg at last night’s Impact tapings. The injury happened when she landed awkwardly while leaving the ring during a segment. People at the event said that she had to be carried backstage after the segment was over, and didn’t return to ringside for the rest of the night, including missing Kurt Angle's match later in the taping. Original reports had suggested it was just a sprain or an ankle brake, but the term used by TNA was a "broken leg." There's no word yet on how long she will be out.
